The Club
Newark Rugby Club is justifiably proud of its standing as the premier sports club in the town of Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, England. Newark are long term Rugby Union Champions of Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire & Derbyshire having won the coveted "Three Counties Cup" both in 2008 and 2009.
The club play in Midlands 1 East. Founded in 1919, and boasting former world record points scorer Dusty Hare, as well as England forwards coach John Wells amongst our members, we regularly run Four senior teams, plus a highly successful mini and youth section comprising over 500 boys & girls.
The club's membership is in excess of 800 - proof of our commitment to first class facilities and the warm and friendly atmosphere at Kelham Road. Two floodlit pitches complete the impressive scene at our headquarters.
