After a demanding month of intense training and matches against other academies, including Harlequins, Saracens, Northampton Saints, Exeter and Yorkshire, we’re thrilled to announce that Alfie and Fin have been selected for the Leicester U17s Academy.

Exciting times await both the boys.

Alfie has been offered a place at Stamford School and Fin at Denstone College.

While studying for their A Levels, both boys will continue to immerse themselves in the demanding Tigers and school rugby programmes.

Both fiercely dedicated and committed Newark Rugby Club players, who started their rugby in the minis at Newark, they are an inspiration to many other young players who also might be aspiring to be A Leicester Tiger someday.

Well done Alfie and Fin! The club wishes these young men all the best on their journey.
